Obituary of Joanne Elizabeth Williston

The passing of Joanne Elizabeth Williston of Beaverdam, NB, wife of the late Dysart Williston, occurred on March 25, 2024 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on January 26, 1938 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Bertha (Howland) Hughes. 

Joanne is survived by her son, Kevin Williston; daughters Krisanne Williston, Debbie Arbeau and Ardith Williston; brother Neil Hughes (Joyce); sister, Ina Williston; grandchildren, Daniel Arbeau (Angela Godin), Calvin Noel and Amanda Donaher (Mark); great grandchildren, Abby Carten, Hunter Donaher, Brady Arbeau, Brody Arbeau, Hailey Donaher, Brook Carrier and Luke Arbeau; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Tony Williston; sister, Ardith Coughlan.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 6 to 8pm.  Interment will take place in the Sunnybank Cemetery, at a later date.
