Margaret May Atherton
1909-2010
The passing of Margaret May Atherton of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at the York Manor Nursing Home. Born on August 25, 1909 in Doaktown, NB, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Martha (Price) Parker.
Margaret is survived by her nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her sisters, Vita Shaw, Noreen Myshrall and Christina Munn; brothers, William, Johnston, Coke and Clyde Parker.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, July 29, 2010 from 2-3:30 pm followed by a funeral service at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel at 3:30 pm with Rev. George Clark officiating. Interment will take place at Mactaquac Baptist Cemetery.
